She is survived by her son, J. Thomas Benson of Columbus, IN; daughters, Barbara J. Crouch of The Villages, FL and Lynne B. Johnson of Ashburn, VA; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean H. Walker, Jr. and grandsons, Robert D. Johnson and Troy Crouch.
Lore was a long-time area resident. She was an active member of the "Naughty but Nice" chapter of the Red Hat
Society and a member of several bridge clubs.
Burial will take place in Columbus, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Odyssey House Hospice, 74350 Country Club Dr., Palm Desert, CA 92260.
