Nancy Kelly Obituary
Nancy MacCollister Kelly, an Indian Wells resident passed on May 25, 2017 at the age of 86. She died of pancreatic cancer.
She was born in Syracuse, New York and a graduate of Syracuse Powelson Institute where she studied accounting and record keeping. She was the beloved wife of Bruce R. Kelly, who died in 2008. She met her husband in Syracuse, New York and they were married in 1953.
She was a great supporter of her husband's business, traveling from Syracuse to Chicago and then to Houston, Texas where they started their own company, A.I.M. INC. When it was time to retire they came to Indian Wells for the beautiful weather and golf.
She was a parishioner of St. Francis Church of Assisi, as well as a Eucharistic Minister and member of Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. She had always enjoyed volunteering at Eisenhower Hospital Same Day Surgery. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, La Quinta, CA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Hospice.

I am deeply saddened to find out of Nancy's passing. My late husband and I first met Bruce and Nancy in Houston when my husband was playing in a golf tournament at the Champions golf course. Bruce and Nancy would offer their home to players. We fell in love with them. Their witty senses of humor and fun loving personalities. They came to Colorado for the wedding of friends whom they also met via the golf tournament. They fell in love with Vail Colorado and built a home there. After a couple of years they decided they weren't meant for snow and moved to Indian Wells, CA. We would get together with them from time to time in California to play golf and enjoy the sunshine.
After Bruce passed Nancy and I would talk and cry while remembering our times together. I hadn't talked to Nancy in a while and the last time I tried to call her the phone number was not working. I unfortunately lost touch with her and am very sorry to see now why I couldn't reach her.
I will miss her very much.
