Nicky, I was just a child of 12 last time I saw your dear face. How shocked I was to find this obit by doing an online search for you. My heart is broken, I have such fond memories of you. And I waited too long to find you. Rest in peace my dear cousin, the world is a sadder place without you.

I was shocked to hear that you had left this life, Nick. I trust that you are in a better life, enjoying it to the full. As with Raymond, I will miss our conversations. You always had a cheery word. You will always remain a beautiful person.

The shock is too much. I cannot believe that my dear friend Nicky is gone. We have been friends for 53 years. Only Betty Ann has me beat. I was 15 and he was 17 and we both worked at J.J. Newberrys in Van Nuys. I went to Van Nuys High and he went to Notre Dame. Prom dates, sweet 16 surprise birthday party, we did it all. He was devastated when Mick died and so lonely after. I will miss him terribly.

My dearest dearest Nick. As taken from Golden Girls - Thank you being a friend. But you are more than just a friend. You are one of my best buds. You are my theatre companion, my road trip captain to this co-captain. My listening board, my shoulder to cry on as we shared the passing of our soulmates. I am sure you and Michael are looking down on us and are reflecting on what a good life you two had here on earth developing the friendships you cultured over the years here. I will truly miss you the times we had the laughs we shared and the countless bowls of ice cream we delved into at night. You opened your arms and your home to me. You let me take of the kids while you went on a cruise to PV. You let me be your computer guy. You let me share many a Thanksgiving holiday with you and your friends. But most of all you let me be your Canadian Pool Boy taking care of the waters while you were at work. By the way - still waiting for the uniform!!!
I will miss you my big huggable Nick and my trips down will never be the same again. We will always have my surprise backstage tour of "Wicked" because you have shown why you are "Defying Gravity". Keep shining down on us Nick for you are surely missed down here.
With the biggest of hugs - your Canadian Pool Boy, Frank M.

Nick there are no words that can ever express what you meant to us. All the fun times we had over the past 10+ years. I always told you to write a book of your life and it would have been a best seller. You will be missed everyday until we can all be together again the big pool in the beyond.

Nick(Nicky-boy) I don't no where to start, You were such a big part of our lives, even if it only was every other year or so. You brought excitement and a bundle of knowledge as we
experienced Palm Springs for the first time. And for many, many trips to follow we were equally blown away by your willingness to share your home and your hospitality. We will always remember the great times we've had with you. You were a faithful friend from the beginning and an inspiration to chat with. We would never of met if we never had taken the chance just to say hi. One day in the future, we will meet again and we will all share the biggest bowl of ice-cream as well as the warmest bear hug. We love you Nick.. Your friends Joe & Jim from Royal Oak, Michigan

For as many movies as you have, we'll always wonder how many you actually stayed awake for! We will miss your sense of humor, your quick wit, your Universal stories, and fishing for the next coupon. Much love on your continued journey, friend.

Nick, you were always such a good friend to Larry and me, and we cannot thank you enough for all your true friendship for so many years. Our e-mails were too few and far between, but at least we stayed in touch after our retirement. We miss you and thank you for your insights and genuine goodness! God bless you, dear friend. Now, you and Michael can be together again in peace.

Nick, I feel like a big part of my recollections of our shared past have been taken away. I loved sitting on the patio with you and you so vividly recalled even minor details of times that I struggled to remember. The laughter and that teaes for our many friends who had been taken from us so many years before.
I will forever be grateful to you for your generosity. You opened your home to me and allowed me to reconnect with the desert that I left many years ago and I rediscovered the love for the area that drew me there in the first place.
I know you are in a good place and finally back with your Michael. May you both celebrate your afterlives together. I will miss you my friend.

21 years, my longest friend. We went through the loss of Mikey to the loss of Jimmy and so many memories in between...I am so sorry for our distance this last year. I will always hear your laughter when I close my eyes and because of you I will never eat at a restaurant without a coupon. I am so honored to have been your friend Nick. You have always been a part of my heart and always will be. I love you and I will miss you so...

We had great times and memories when we worked together for several years. They bring smiles to my face and laughter to my heart. I only wish we had spent more time together in our retirement. I can imagine you bossing people around in that great beyond and being the funny guy that you were here. You will be missed. Love, Sarah Adams

Nick was a special person who opened his home to everyone and made you feel welcomed. He was one of the first people I met here in Palm Springs and I admired his knowledge of the underpinnings of this city.
We will all miss you Nick.
