Norman Cohen Obituary

Norman Cohen, 87, of Palm Desert, Calif., passed away on December 27, 2010. He was born on October 5, 1923, to Jacob and Anna Cohen in Chicago, Ill. He married Adeline Stone on March 10, 1945 in Chicago. He was a member of B'nai Brith and a volunteer Docent at the Palm Springs Air Museum. He served in the Army Air Corp from 1942-1945 as a Lt. and received the Distinguished Flying Cross. He is survived by spouse, Adeline Cohen of Palm Desert; daughter, Judi duNann (Derek) of Seattle, Wash.; sons, Robert Cohen of San Francisco, Calif. and Mark Cohen (Cheryl) of Chicago; and four loving grandchildren, Geoffrey Cohen, Jennifer Cohen, Danielle duNann and Briana duNann. There will be a service held on December 30, 2010 at 1:00 PM at The Ramon Chapel, Forest Lawn Cathedral City. Interment is to follow. The family suggests that donations be made to Palm Springs Air Museum or Hadassah of Palm Desert and Sun City. Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks & Mortuaries
