It is with a heavy heart and such sadness that I write this to the Grosso family. I knew Rose through the Sacred Heart WFCC. She was always so warm and welcoming to me and my only regret is that I was unable to attend the group recently. She will be missed by me and so many. I will keep Rose and all of you, her family, in my prayers.

February 5, 2011

Rose was one of the most caring, loving and beautiful people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Our families were from the same area in Cleveland before we moved to the desert. Then we became like family once we found each other out here in the desert. Rose, Frank, Sr., Frank Jr., and Michael were all there for me when my father, Fred Pucci, passed just before Christmas this past year and now my loving thoughts and wishes are with all of them now. I am here for you, so please don't hesitate to call me if there is anything I can do for you or if you just want to talk. God bless you and love you always. All my love to you and Rose will always be in my heart as she will always be the beautiful person I came to know these past years! Love, Dianne Pucci

I will always remember Rose and her beautiful smile! I worked with Rose on the a committee for Women's Day via the telephone and emails. I remember we both thought what were we thinking as it was a bit more involved then either of us thought it would be, but we survivied and got the job done. i so enjoyed working with her and seeing her at the FCCW workshop and council meetings every year and really missed her this year. She was a wonderful lady and my prayers go out to her family. Carla Eilers, St. Malachy FCCW

Blessings, love & prayers to the family and dear ones of this wonderful 'daughter of God.' We've only had a few visits, all Fellowship of Catholic Christian Women or Magnificat oriented; still, her enthusiasm was so genuine and contagious. Her 'gracefulness' will inspire many for eternity! We can rejoice that we shared this time with her. Mary Kay Woodward (Rialto, CA)

Rose, was one of my first friends in Christ, when we moved to the desert in 2002. She embraced me with her perpetual love and genuine kindness, always there to listen and to give encouragement. She became the spiritual facilitator for the Women's Prayer Group at Sacred Heart Church. In our groups she always expressed her love for God, Our Lady. friends. I have lost a real friend to a better place. She has gone home to her Maker because her work here on earth has been accomplished. Surely she was greeted with His open arms and told "well done".

It was a blessing to know Rose; we met through the Fellowship of Catholic Christian Women. Rose was a friend and a role model. She was always gracious, full of enthusiasm, and tirelessly encouraged others to grow in the love of the Lord. She will be greatly missed. May the choir of angels come to greet Rose. May she rest in the loving embrace of the Lord.

To the family & friends of Rose Grosso.
Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Rose was a spirit filled, & faithful lady, so much like my mother, Rose. While we were saddened to lose her, we were grateful for Michael to invite us to see her. Those last minutes to be with her and with family were very special. Our Lord has a plan for her. Take comfort knowing that. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

therefore, God is not ashamed to be called her God,
