Alexandra Dicky Obituary
Alexandra "Alex" Michelle Dicky, 15, of Bryan was tragically taken from this world on Sunday, August 3, 2008. Services are set for 10 a.m. Friday, August 8, at Hillier Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 7, at the funeral home.
Alex entered this world on November 9, 1992. She was a student at Bryan High School, where she was a member of the soccer team. Alex ranked sixth in her class as she prepared to enter the tenth grade at Bryan High. She loved helping others and was a hard-working student. She worked at Texas A&M University's veterinary school this summer.
Alex's bright smile will be forever missed.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, David Dicky; great-grandmothers, Kay Larsen, Melba Hrncir and Rose Davis Amos; and great-uncle, Alan Larsen.
Carrying on her memories will be her father, Wayne Dicky; mother, Tricia Maginn; grandparents, Sandra Larsen, Larry Ferguson, Georgia and "Is" Isbell and Archie Dicky; brother, Wayne Dicky II; aunt, Kathleen Maginn; great-aunt, Judy Larsen; great-uncles, Glenn Larsen and Danny Hrncir; uncle, Alan Dicky; cousins, Tobin Larsen, Lindsey Larsen, Marisa Walters, Jeff Walters, Kayla Walters and Michael Dicky; and many beloved friends at Bryan High School.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alex Dicky Scholarship Fund, care of Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union.

Wayne and Tricia,
it is with sadness that I am writing to you regarding the loss of Alexandria aka Alex ** I consider myself lucky as both of you allowed me to share in the joy of caring for Alex from the time she was almost 2 years old until she went to kindergarden. I will miss her little shy smile and her passion for life . I still remember her first soccer game I was able to attend and watch her exhibit skills at 5 years of age . When the time comes I have several photos of her and her friends at my home that should be shared with you, I have 4th of July , Dressup days as a ballet dancer , picnic days, one Fall day at the Pumpkin Patch .. I want you to know she will always hold a special place in my heart..

There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so young, beautiful and full of energy and expectations. We are all the losers ~~ even those of us who never knew Alex. My heart and prayers go out to her entire family.
