Allen Denton Obituary
Allen Eugene Denton III, age 60, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011.
Memorial services will be Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Hillier Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rhoda Montgomery pastor of St. Thomas Episcopal Church officiating.
Allen Denton III was born May 1, 1951 in Bryan to Allen Eugene and Alice (Hoss) Denton. Allen is a graduate of Texas A & M and graduated from medical school at the University of North Texas and worked for many years as a radiologist. He married Patricia Barnes in June of 2004.
Allen leaves behind his wife Patricia; his three daughters, Alexis Denton of Michigan, Allison Denton of Arizona, Danielle Denton of Michigan; and two stepchildren, Dustin O'Neal of Tomball and Erin Guidroz of Orangefield; as well as seven grandchildren. He also leaves behind his two brothers, David Denton and Leslie Denton of College Station.

This news and event doesn't seem to be reality. Although it is, we will miss our FRIEND and colleague, AED, the third. This is a huge void and loss for us too. Our thoughts, prayers, and well wishes are with the family.

alice and i are sorry for your loss. i have not been keeping up with things and was shocked to see allen's name. the few times i met him he was nice and very friendly. it is a real loss.

To the family of Dr. Denton. He will be missed, he was a great radiologist, a patient teacher, and most of all a good friend to all of his residents. Dr. Denton was a well respected member of the Medical Staff of Moore County Hospital District. His compassion for his patients, staff, and peers will always be remembered. Our sincere condolences to the family.
