In Memory of
Bryan Mancuso

It's now been two years since you were taken from us. ÊWhen we think about the impact of the 23 years you did spend on earth, it is amazing what you had done in such a short time. ÊI cry when I think that the woman responsible for your death had no remorse for what she had done. ÊThis woman has changed our lives completely, as well as the others involved in the accident. ÊAlas, the loss of your life was only worth a citation for the woman who caused this terrible mess.
I was only a few minutes behind you that morning. ÊSomething told me that you were hurt. ÊI saw your long, lanky legs crushed between the two SUV's. ÊI would hope that no other parent has to see what I saw that morning. ÊYou never expect to outlive your children. ÊIt is ironic that even your great-grandmother had out lived her great-grandchild.
You have touched many lives in your short 23 years with us. ÊYour boss, Jack Marino and his wife, Diane, started a memorial fund on the day of your accident. ÊWe have taken those funds and started the Bryan Mancuso Memorial Scholarship Fund. ÊThis year, we will give out the second scholarship. ÊWhat a better way of remembering you and your loving, caring ways. Ê
Our lives were changed in ways you cannot imagine. ÊI will never forget our last conversation regarding me going to grad school; well, I am doing just that. ÊYour dad lost not only a son, but a "buddy". ÊYour brother couldn't handle the stress of your death and has transferred to University of Houston to complete his degree. (He's making straight As!)
We will never forget that big, beautiful smile and your willingness to help others. ÊWe know that you're being taken care of in Heaven
