Don Stolz Obituary

July 23, 1951 - July 16, 2009

Don William Stolz, 57, of Hempstead, tragically died on Friday, July 16, 2009 in Navasota.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Friedens Church of Washington, UCC with the Rev. Ron Trimmer officiating. Interment will follow in Friedens Church Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lillie Stolz.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy DeGaugh Stolz; son and best friend, Keith William Stolz and wife, Shannon, of New Braunfels; the twinkle in his eye and what made each day better than the day before, because it always meant he was a day closer to seeing his beautiful granddaughter, Addyson Lillie Stolz; his sister, Diane Gillespie and husband James of Brenham; sisters-in-law and their husbands, Debbie and Ron Haedge of Hempstead and Linda and Alan Haedge of Dripping Spring; wonderful nieces and nephews who he loved deeply, Jami and Chris Aguilar, Kristin and Orion Jones, Robbie and Amanda Haedge, Michael Haedge, Lisa Haedge, Matthew Haedge, Emily Haedge, Amy and Craig Dunlap, Ann Gillespie, and John Gillespie, as well as numerous great nieces and nepews; God-son, Scott Schroeder and wife Candace of Brenham, and devoted friend, Adolph Feldman.

Pallbearers are Larry Schroeder, Randy Lewis, Ray Stolz, Ron Haedge, Alan Haedge and Craig Wellmann.

Honorary pallbearers are Adolph Feldmann and James Gillespie.
