Mr. Cannon was one of the finest men I have ever known. I have many wonderful fishing memories of him in my heart that I will cherish for ever. I never met another man that was such a joy to be around and would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. I offer my condolences to his family and friends, and it is my hope that we all will be blessed with such a wonderful life as Cannon Amos. I admired him as a self-made man and as a wonderful influence on those who knew him. Garlan and I learned many wonderful life lessons from Mr. Cannon. God Bless..
