November 26, 1933 - April 17, 2021
Jeanette (Meads) Rychlik passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021. She will be waiting for us to join her in heaven.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Faith Bible Church in Wixon Valley. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 pm Friday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Jeanette was born November 26, 1933, in Hubbard, TX. to Rufus and Lucille Meads. The family moved to Bryan when Jeanette was two years old, and she has lived here ever since. She graduated from Bryan High School (SFA) and attended McKenzie Baldwin Business College in Bryan.
Jeanette helped her husband develop a life insurance agency while being a loving and devoted mother to their two daughters. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, sewing blankets for her grandchildren, doing crossword puzzles, and most of all, spending time with her family who adored her. Jeanette will always be fondly remembered for her quiet, gentle spirit and generous heart.
Jeanette is survived by her husband, Bob Rychlik; brother, Jim Meads; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Joe D. Mickler of Mountain View AR; daughter, Carol Kickham of Chesterfield, MO; she was blessed with eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Jeanette's family is forever grateful to Comfort Keepers for the loving care she received for the last four years.

Jeanette was my college momma! I met her when I went to work for Bob at the NML office while attending Texas A&M in 1983-1987. Even though she had me sending birthday cards to all of Bob's clients, I still loved her! LOL!!
Bob, Jeanette and I shared many fun memories while I was in school and worked in Bryan. The best time was helping Jeanette put up her Christmas tree with the millions of lights of which most did not work! I had never strung so many lights on a tree. I must say it was beautiful when it was done. She was the best! I will love and miss her dearly! Love, Rosalind Johnson

Jeanette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her Lord. A caring listener and a wise woman of few words she was. She lived her life to get to where she is now through the pearly gates.
