March 21, 1990 - February 15, 2021
Julian Gomez, age 30, of Bryan, (has) peacefully passed away Monday, February 15, 2021. Funeral Services are set for 11AM Wednesday, February 24 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Tuesday, February 23 with a 6PM Rosary in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.
Born, March 21, 1990 in Bryan, Texas, he was the son of Guadalupe Gomez Jr. and Rosalia Mendez-Gomez. Julian was dedicated and truly loved working as a UPS driver, for over 12 years. Along his routes, he built a rapport that gained friendships from people and their pets alike. He enjoyed watching movies, exploring new places, being around friends, family and having a great time.
When Julian liked to relax, he spent his down time with his two pets, Loki and Hulk. He especially loved devoting his attention to his niece, Lailah, whom he also held the title as her Godfather. They shared the nickname "Monkey" for one another and she had his whole heart.
Julian was a loving son, uncle, brother, friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
We will miss him for his welcoming hugs, and caring, positive attitude. He had a laugh and beautiful smile, you could never forget.
He was preceded in death, by his grandfather, Guadalupe Gomez Sr.; brother, Juan Jose "JJ" Gomez and cousin, Monica Cubit.
Julian leaves behind loved ones to cherish his memories, his parents Guadalupe Gomez and Rosalia Gomez; four brothers, Guadalupe Gomez lll and his wife, Katy, Everardo Gomez, Damian Gomez and Saul Gomez; five sisters, Rosalia Mendoza, Ester Rosas and husband Juan, Elizabeth Mendoza, Chrysels Gomez and Fatima Gomez; he also leaves fourteen nieces and nephews.

I want to send my condolences. I didn't know Julian very long. The time I did he's was very nice well mannered made me feel welcomed as a friend. Very strong man. He fought the fight. No matter how bad he felt. He never let u see it. Julian I will miss you. Till we see each other again.
