My soul finds rest in God alone; My salvation comes from Him.He only is my rock and my salvation. I shall not be shaken. Psalm 62: 1-2
Wilbur Lula "Lou" Sansom Fleming was the fourth child born to Elmer Flournoy and Wilbur Shook Sansom. She grew up in Plainview, Texas and studied art at the University of Texas in Austin, where she met Walton C. Fleming, Jr. During World War II, she worked as a draftsman at an airplane factory. Walt served in the Navy during the war, and when his ship was on leave, they married in New Orleans July 5, 1945. After the war, Lou and Walt settled in Houston, where they lived until they moved to Bryan, Texas in 1985.
Lou enjoyed being a wife, mother, and homemaker. She loved family and holiday times together, sewing, and painting. Lou was an active member at Grace Bible Church, where she enjoyed keeping the kitchen organized, welcoming newcomers, and working with the OWLS ministry. She was a member of the Gideon's Auxilliary. Most of all, Lou loved sharing about her Messiah Jesus with anyone she could. It was not uncommon for her to say, "May I ask you a question? Have you asked Jesus into your heart?" (Acts 16:30-31)

Fleming Jr; her father and mother, Elmer and "Wil" Sansom; a sister Virginia Sansom Walker; and a brother, David Flournoy Sansom.Lou is survived by her daughter Nan McLeroy and husband Don, grandson Luke and wife Katie McLeroy and their children Emily and Natalie, and grandson Andrew and wife Suw McLeroy; and her son Walt, granddaughter Lindsey and husband Robert Smith, and son Isaac, and granddaughter Kelly and husband Jeremy Barrett and children Tamara and Zolan; and sister Mary Earle Sansom Williams; also nieces and nephews and dear friends.
