Harold Fleming Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Palmer Funeral Homes - Bubb Chapel on Mar. 13, 2026.
Harold B. Fleming, a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, left this world on March 12, 2026, at the age of 70, surrounded by the love of his family in his hometown of Mishawaka, IN. Born on October 28, 1955, in Mishawaka to the late Ralph and Boneta (Sandefur) Fleming, Harold's life was steeped in the close-knit bonds of his large and lively family.
Harold's commitment to family was evident when he married his beloved wife, Linda, on June 11, 1988, in a joyful celebration in their shared hometown. Together, they created a life rich in love and laughter, welcoming daughter Kimberly Allison and son Charles (Christina) Speelman. The joy of parenting was only magnified as Harold became the proud grandfather to eight loving grandchildren and four adoring great-grandchildren.
After bravely serving in the United States Army, Harold dedicated over 32 years to the city of Mishawaka's Street Department, where his steadfast work ethic and affable nature made him not only a reliable coworker but also a treasured friend. His service to his country and community exemplified his unwavering commitment to duty and care for others.
Harold's zest for life shone through his hobbies. He delighted in going camping with his family, cherishing the simplicity of nature and the joy of togetherness. A long-time fan of the WWE, Harold enjoyed following the drama and athleticism of wrestling entertainment, a pastime he shared with friends and family. Additionally, his passion for working on cars reflected not only a skillful hand but also a fondness for restoration and innovation.
Harold's memory will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Beatrice (Jason) Stacy, Sharon Mash, Pat Buck, and LaTreasa (Ken) Rice, and his brothers, Danny Fleming Dennis Fleming. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Ralph, Elmer, Terry, Dicky, and Julius Fleming. His vibrant spirit and heartfelt laughter will live on through the extensive legacy he leaves behind.

At this time per Harold's wishes there will be no service. Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel is honored to be assisting the family with final arrangements.
