Mark Stevens Obituary

Mark Edward Stevens

Mar 4, 1968 - May 7, 2025

Mark Edward Stevens passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Mark was born on March 4, 1968 to Norman and Mary Stevens.

Mark lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. For the past 10 years, he worked as an account manager at Irby Utilities, where he built not only strong business partnerships but also lasting personal relationships with his customers.

Some of Mark's happiest days were spent in the woods or on the water, hunting and fishing. He had a gift for cooking and loved nothing more than serving up a meal for friends and family.

Above all, Mark adored his family. His passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his legacy of love, generosity, and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of nearly 35 years, Misty; their three adoring children, Sydne McCall Stevens, Austin Philip Stevens, and Kynlee Shae Stevens, along with his two "other sons" J.J. and Vegas; father-in-law Wayne Free and mother-in-law Judy Free; Brother-in-law, Sean Weathers and his wife Sarah; Sister-in-law, Kandis Burden and her husband Mike; as well as several nieces, nephews and loving friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15 beginning at 2pm at Hillier Funeral Home in College Station, Texas (4080 SH 6, College Station, TX 77845) with a celebration of life to follow at 3pm. Following the service, the family invites you to stay and enjoy light refreshments, and share memories of Mark.

Mark often shared a simple but powerful piece of advice: "Love your family and live each day like it's your last."

Please visit www.hillierfuneralhome.com to share deepest condolences and expressions of gratitude for Mark and a life well lived.
