Sheri R. Jones was born in Dallas, TX on October 16, 1955 to Chester "Ted" and Ross Jones. She passed away January 9, 2025 in Bryan, TX at the age of 69. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother, Tom.
Sheri graduated from Texas A&M University. While attending Texas A&M, Sheri worked at the Grapevine Restaurant, owned by Patsy, who became a life-long friend. Sheri worked in banking for 25 years. Sheri's longtime wish finally came true when she got a job at Texas A&M. She was a "Happy Aggie".
Sheri will be remembered for her love of all animals, especially Gracie and Delilah, her two pugs…"the girls".
Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Center in Bryan, TX.
Memorials preferred to: Aggieland Humane Society, 5357 Leonard Road, Bryan, TX 77807.

Sheri gave the definition of FRIEND a whole new meaning. Solid, Dependable, honest, true to her word always, faithful. The more I describe her, its more like how she felt about her dogs. They were one in the same. If we could all be this lucky to have a friend like Sheri.
