October 15, 1923 - September 20, 2022

Virginia Ailene Parsons, 98, of College Station, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

Virginia was born October 15, 1923 in Bryan, Texas to Grady "Henry" and Maude (Royder) Jones.

She married Raymond Parsons and they had three children: Diane, David, and Barbara.

She was a long-time member of Cavitt Street Church of Christ and later Brazos Valley Church of Christ.

Virginia loved spending time with family, camping, football, baseball and all things Aggies.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Maude Jones, husband Raymond Parsons, daughter Barbara Watson, granddaughter Tammy St. Clair, two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughter Diane and husband Terry Peavy of Brady, son David Parsons and wife Tommy of Lubbock, son-in-law Ray Watson of College Station, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Memorials preferred to Hospice Brazos Valley.

A visitation will be held from 9:30am to 11am followed by the funeral service at 11am, Monday, September 26, 2022 at Brazos Valley Church of Christ, 625 Graham Road, College Station. Interment will follow at Wellborn Cemetery.
