Helen Wiederhold was born on May 30, 1940, to Henry and Lottie Odstrcil in Bryan, Texas. She passed away on August 6, 2024. Helen graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1958. Upon her graduation, she enrolled and attended Sam Houston State University.

Helen began her working career at General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) in Bryan, Texas and transferred to the Houston office in 1967. After many great years, Helen retired in 1993.

After retiring, Helen returned back to the Bryan-College Station area where she began a part-time position at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Regional Office. She enjoyed volunteer work in Caldwell and Bryan, especially her 20 years spent volunteering at the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library. She loved traveling and spending time with her dearest friends and family. Helen attended and was a member of the Lyons Evangelical Church.

Helen is survived by her brother Robert Odstrcil and wife Carolyn, sisters Ruby Fuller, Henrietta Cunningham, Lottie Ann Arnold, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who she adored.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Edd Odstrcil, and sister Bert Singer.
