EASLEY — Mrs. Shirley Gwendolyn Stewart Jarvis, 88, wife of the late Keith Alan Jarvis, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at her home.
Born in Saskatchewan, Canada, a daughter of the late Thomas Baxter Stewart and the late Ruby Jean Shrubb Stewart, Mrs. Jarvis was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a son, Larry Jarvis (Rena) of Cottondale, Ala.; two daughters, Audrey Kuykendall (Dennis) of Easley, S.C., and Lynn Lapan (Steve) of Lafargeville, N.Y.; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Jarvis was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Ann Sillars; two brothers and three sisters.
Family members are at their respective homes.

Dennis,Audrey and Family, on behalf of all of us here at New Hope Baptist Church in Watertown,N.Y. We want to say we are so sorry for the loss of Miss Shirley. She loved her church so much and was so saddened when she had to leave. She had a special place in all of our hearts. Always loved to see her smile and get her hugs. We will miss her but know we will see her again someday when we all get to Heaven. keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers that God will give all of you peace and comfort in the days ahead. Dennis,Audrey and Family, so sorry for the loss of Shirley. She was a special friend and sister in Christ and will be missed. she was always so friendly and never hesitated to tell others about her Lord and Savior. I thank God for the friendship we shared and want all of you to know she loved you very much. I am thankful she is with her Lord and Savior now and is not suffering anymore from her illness and has her glorified body. We will all see her again someday.
