I grew up with CJ when we were younger (Kennedy baseball) CJ was competitive and for people who played baseball with him for awhile you'd know it's one of the things that kept you close. He was constantly challenging you to be your best. CJ was passionate about anything he set forth to do. I remember the late nights playing video games after leaving baseball that his dad was coaching or staying up and prank calling people... after the good times we both ended up at different high schools and I'm ashamed I didn't reach out more. CJ was a great man and ball player and an even more fantastic person and friend.... my condolences.
