David Brown Obituary

David W. Brown, 74, of Marion, Iowa peacefully passed away at St. Luke's Hospital on Monday, January 15th surrounded by his family, following chronic health issues. For family and friends, a celebration of life will be held at the Venue at Kingston Steakhouse on Boyson Rd. NE in Cedar Rapids, on Friday, January 26th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A visitation will be held Saturday, January 27th at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hiawatha, Iowa from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. A funeral mass will begin at 11:00 AM, and a luncheon in Seton Hall at the parish will follow the funeral. A private inurnment of the remains will be held at a later date with the immediate family. Dave is survived by his wife, Janet (Molloy), his children, David, Michael, Allie, his son-in-law Neal, his grandchildren Declan and Carrigan, his brothers John (Sue), and Greg (Becky), and a great many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. In lieu of any flowers or plants, the family is asking for donations to be made in Dave's name to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. (https://www.bcrf.org/ ).
