Sister Emily had a HUGE role in getting me involved in the Anti-Human Trafficking movement. I’ll never forget my second meeting at Sisters and Brothers Collaborating Against Human Trafficking her announcing that I was going to be president now (this was news to me - lol) . Through the years, she was a tremendous help and support. She will be sorely missed!

My Mom and I are so sorry to hear about Sister Emily's passing. She sent my Mom notes frequently and would call me to check on her. My Mom and Dad lived across the street from Emily's parents. I think Mom and Elenora had coffee together every morning. I remember when my Dad broke his hip and before he had surgery in Mason City Sister Emily came into his room. She was so comforting. She was such a special person and we loved her. Paula Streeter and Nodia Jumpp.
