The cutest thing ever that I remember about Jim, is that he would call his wife, Arlene, "Mrs.B."
It was so endearing.
When they lived in Pt. St. Lucie, I had the pleasure of spending time with Jim, Arlene, and their daughter, Jan, my dear friend.
Jim will be forever remembered as a man of great integrity, kindness and love for his family, friends, and life.

My dad worked full time and then part time for Jim Bader for several years at the Village Inn Motel. Dad's employment suddenly ceased when he suffered a stroke. Trusting that dad had trained me to do the work, Mr. Bader allowed me to immediately step in to his job.
My dad and I both agreed that to work for Jim Bader was to be comfortable and confident in your job. He was always pleasant and willing to help work out a solution if some sort of occupational impasse arose. He knew all his employees and treated everyone like family. He was always good for his word and would not make promises he did not intend to keep.
His integrity was always something you could take to the bank.
The world sorely needs more like him. Mr. Bader will be missed.

Jim was the sweetest, kindest , most thoughtful man . He always had a big smile and was so generous. I remember him beaming with pride when speaking of his loving and devoted family . He worked so hard to regain his functioning after his stroke and it was a pleasure to be a part of his recovery and mostly to get to meet this great man! I remember him sending 3 dozen roses to the Mercy rehab unit. He wanted to be sure that every staff member got a rose ( from the housekeepers to the dietary staff as well as the doctors and techs and nurses) . Always thinking of others , when truly we were the blessed ones. Sad that you are gone now my friend... but never , ever forgotten . .... Mercy Inpatient Rehab Staff
