Randy Kulhavy Obituary

Randy Lee Kulhavy, 73, of Walford, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 4, 2024, at Brosh Chapel and the Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. The inurnment will be in Hala Cemetery, Walford. Randy was born on January 30, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Wesley and Joyce (Hofmaster) Kulhavy. He graduated from Cedar Rapids Prairie High School, Class of 1969. Randy farmed with his family in the Walford area most of his life. He enjoyed going to car races, attending and watching the Cubs, going on tractor rides with his uncles, going out to eat, collecting toy tractors and cars, and spending time with his family. Randy is survived by his aunts Shirleen (Jim) Brown, Janet Hofmaster and Janey Kulhavy, uncles Gerald (Shirley) Hofmaster and Robert (Charlene) Hofmaster, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his uncles Lloyd Hofmaster and Ed Kulhavy. Memorials may be directed to the family.
