Paul James Gentry 70, of Henderson, KY passed away on July 16. 2016 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson. He was born in Sturgis, KY on July 30, 1945 to the late Paul Gentry Sr. and Beatrice Ashley Gentry. He was a retired rig operator for Roseclaire Oil co. He was a veteran of the United States Army . In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Gentry. Surviors include; his spouse of 49 years, Emma Jean Gentry of Henderson, his three children; Penny Gower and husband Michael of Henderson,KY Allen Gentry and wife Lynn of Wheatcroft, KY, Carol Gower and husband Chris of Henderson, KY, his sister; Janie Eckert of Henderson, KY, brothers: Jerry Gentry of Corydon, KY, David Gentry of Henderson, KY, 8 grandchildren, Kendra Gower, Zachary Gower, Jonathon Gower, Wesley Gower, Paul Allen Gentry, Joseph Rowley, Tara Rowley, Jalen Rowley, one great grandchild; Elijah Wayne Rowley and special pet companion, Twiggy. Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. There will be a military service at graveside conducted by the American Legion Worsham Post 40 Burial Detail.
