John Gill
October 3, 2014
My dad, John J. Gill, served as an Engineer in the Palos Heights Volunteer Fire Dept. with Chief Ed Kamper. Dad always said Ed was a "good Chief". Also, I was in the Junior Fireman Program at the Fire Dept. in the early 60s. Rest in Pease,

I have many good memories of Ed as my Chief and friend in Palos Heights. The Fire Department was like a family then. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ed and his family today. Bill & Nancy Czajkowski
