Floyd Bissey Obituary

Bissey, Floyd Allen 46 of Buda and son of Dwight residents died at 12:49 am Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton. Visitation will be 3-7 pm Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Hager Memorial Home, Dwight. Funeral services will be at 11 am Monday, at the memorial home with Pastor William Leppin officiating. Burial will be at Allen Township Cemetery, Ransom. Floyd was born February 4, 1964 in Pontiac, the son of Harold and Doris Denaple Bissey. He attended Goodfarm Grade School and Dwight Township High School. He was employed by Hoffman Transportation as a semi driver. Surviving are his parents Harold and Doris Bissey, Dwight; fiance, Virginia "Babe" Morris, Buda; sister, Theresa Flowers, Braidwood; brother, Ralph (Chris) Bissey, Odell; nieces & nephews, Emily (Derek) Torres, Wheaton, James Flowers, Braidwood, Brian Flowers, Braidwood, Christina Bissey, Odell, Nathan Bissey, Odell, Courtney Bissey, Odell; great niece, Ginny Torres; special cousins, Leta Leach and Garrett and Gavin, Dwight & Margarete (John) Scott and Meghan and Breanna, Dwight; stepson, Troy Stockton, Dixon; future step-daughters, Michelle (Andy) Wirth, Sheffield & Beth and Sara Morris, Buda; step grandson, Wyatt Wirth. He was preceded in death by his brother Gail Bissey. Floyd enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was always ready to help his family and friends, even before his own work was finished.
