Jessie Lee Alexander Harris, age 84, of Joliet, died on Monday, December 25, 2017 at Silver Cross Hospital.
Born in Jackson, Mississippi on August 6, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Grover Sr. and Eldora Alexander. She was a homemaker and a member of All Nations Church of God in Christ mother's board. She was married to the late Pastor Cornelius Nick Harris and he preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children, Connie (Charles), Cornelius Jr., Kathleen, Jeanette, Dorice, Darwin, Jeffrey, Macio and Cornelia; two brothers, Grover Alexander, Jr. and Abraham Alexander; 36 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and a host of extended family members, too many to name.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at All Nations C.O.G.I.C., 503 S. Water St., Joliet, IL. Service at 7:00pm, Elder Dwayne Barefield, officiating. Interment Saturday, December 30, 2017 10:00am at Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet IL.
