Patricia Nugent Obituary

Age 71 of Woodruff, WI and formerly Normal and Minooka, passed away Monday, August 18, 2008 at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff.

Born April 7, 1937 in Madison, WI, Patricia was a daughter of the late Wilbert and Idabelle Butterfield-Mauer. She was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Minooka and presently a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Bloomington, IL and Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, WI. Patricia was an avid quilter and belonged to various guilds. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Survivors include her loving husband, Donald J. Nugent, originally from the Wilmington area and a former member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington; three children, John (Teri) Nugent of Minooka, Donald (Denise) Nugent of Lake in the Hills, IL and Dr. Patricia Nugent, PhD of Normal, IL; four grandchildren, Elizabeth and Mike Underhill, and Ashlyn and Taylor Nugent; one sister, Susan (Anthony) Peronne of Palatine, IL; two brothers, Robert (Christine) and Charles (Karen) Mauer, both of Washington State; and sister and brothers-in-law, Barbara Nugent and Donald Russell, both of Wilmington and Robert Kahler of Missouri; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2008 from 4PM-8PM at Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow on Monday, August 25th at 10AM in St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Steve Bondi and Deacon Donald Dyer officiating. Burial will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Patricia's memory to a charity of the donor's choice. Online Guest Book
