Robert Szepelak Obituary
Robert P. Szepelak, age 57, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
Survived by 7 siblings, Mike, John (Peggy), Wayne (Kathy), Tom (Nancy), Chris (Bill) Gehris, Anita (Rick) Kranz and Donna (Mark) Turner. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Edward W. and Jeanette C. (Wojcicki) Szepelak.
Born in Joliet, a lifelong area resident. Graduated from Minooka High School Class of 1976. Bob was self employed as a hard wood floor installer. Enjoyed fishing and golfing. He traveled to various flea markets looking for old treasures.
Funeral Services will be held, Thursday August 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
Memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
