Born: February 5, 1965 in Manhattan, Illinois
Died: July 29, 2024 in Joliet, Illinois
Roberta Pikul (nee Jungles) also known as "Bert" & "Berra", age 59, passed away peacefully at Lightways Hospice Home, Joliet on Monday, July 29, 2024 with her loving family at her side.
Preceded in death by her Parents Merlin "Bud" & Elizabeth "Sis" Jungles, her sister Tammy Jungles and her brother Jim Jungles.
Survived by her loving husband of two years Stanley Pikul, her daughter Sarah Alsip, her sisters Sandy (Jerry) Gosack and Cindy (James) Blair, grandchildren Rebecca Alsip, Logan and Mila Ruhe, her step-daughter Samantha (David) Ruhe, her step-sisters Shirley (Jim) Moore-Tagilere and Lynette Duncan, step-brother Darrel Duncan, and step-mother Carolyn Jungles.
Roberta was a wound nurse for over 30 years. Her life ended way to soon, she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Cremation rites have been accorded per Roberta's wishes.

I first met Roberta in 4th grade. We instantly bonded in what had literally become a BFF situation. There were times when we didn't get to see each other often, but we always came back around to catch up. I've been so blessed to have her in my life. I can still hear her unique laugh inside my head. I will miss her dearly. I hope Roberta took my words with her during those final hours, "This is Not Goodbye My Friend " We will somehow meet again someday and that bond we had will flourish once more.
My heartfelt condolences go out to Stanley and his awesome family! Makes me happy to know that Roberta had such loving people to fill her heart with happiness. Thank You for loving her. Condolences also to her Siblings and their families.

I am so, so sorry and shocked Stan and Sam! Amy just called and told me or I never would have known! It seems like yesterday that Stan introduced her to me and I thought right away she was a lovely person, I was happy you both had found each other. Please let me know if I can do anything.

Aunt Bert,you have always been her for us kids,always stayed in touch gave me,my sister's,and kids many good memories,I thank you for being apart of are life,you will greatly be missed by many.
