Roy Lorenz Obituary
Roy Joseph Lorenz, 86, of New Lenox, formerly of Joliet, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his home. Roy was born in Joliet to the late Roy H. and Loretta (nee Malandro) Lorenz.
Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Dennison); loving father of Steven (Sharon), Mark (Margaret), Roy (DeeDee), Patty (Kurt) Hucek, John (Elizabeth), Joseph, and the late Richard (Jennifer); cherished grandfather of 13 and proud great grandfather of 18; dear brother of the late Marjorie (late Eugene) Yunker; brother-in-law of Tom (Amber) Dennison and the late Kathleen Dennison; uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.
Roy was a Route Salesman for Rainbo Bakery for over 37 years retiring in 1989. He was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Joliet for 66 years and was an avid high school football, Cub, and Bears fan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Roy's name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 9:00am until time of Memorial Service at 11:00am. Interment Mt. Olivet, Joliet.
