Steven Blaskey Obituary
Steven C. "Steve" Blaskey, age 56, of Crest Hill, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center.
Born July 12, 1961 in Richmond, IN, he was the son of the late Francis T. and Margaret (nee Stanick) Blaskey, and was a graduate of Joliet West High School. He worked as an auto mechanic his entire life, the past four years for Safelite Auto Glass.
Steve was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed car racing, cooking, fishing, and following his Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Jacquelyn P. (nee Zollar) Blaskey; and his two children, Jordan S. (fianc , Casie Moore) Blaskey and Stephanie Blaskey, all of Crest Hill. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, David (Linda Baaske) Blaskey, Greg Blaskey, Sarah Blaskey, Roseann Blaskey, and Thomas (Misty) Blaskey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Steven Blaskey will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, with a funeral service to follow at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
