Tod Masters Obituary
Tod E. Masters, age 79 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with his loving family by his side.
Born in Pinckneyville, Illinois on April 3, 1939, living in Joliet since 1961. He was employed by Laborers Union Local # 288 as Business Manager. Member and Past President of Ingalls Park A.C. and also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 3585. He also coached baseball for many years at Ingalls Park.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Janet A. (nee Millikin) Masters (1998); an infant son, Michael; a grandson Dustin Egley; his parents, Vernon and Isabele (nee Parker) Masters; his brother, David Masters and a sister-in-law, Judi Masters.
Survived by his loving wife, Jan (nee Neilis) Masters; five sons, Brock (Kelly Hobbs, fiancée) Masters, Blaine (Nancy) Masters, Father Burke Masters, Bill (Naomi) Wisneski and Mike (Kim) Wisneski. Ten grandchildren, Tod (Katie) Masters, MacKenzie (Brian Kelly, fiancé) Masters, Sierra Masters, Raleigh (Blakslee) Masters, Sam Masters, Josh (Jennifer) Wisneski, Zachary Wisneski, Ryan Wisneski, Lacey Egley and Ashley (Sean) McDonough; Six great-grandchildren, Brailey, Keegan, Oti, Leif, Austin and Addie; one brother, Terry Masters and by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation for Tod E. Masters will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory 2320 Black Road Joliet on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. to the Cathedral of St. Raymond for a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.
Per Tod's wishes cremation rites will be accorded following the funeral mass. Private inurnment will be held at Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tod's name to Joliet Area Community Hospice, Cathedral of St. Raymond or American Cancer Research would be greatly appreciated.

I've known Mr. Masters literally my entire life. Fr. Burke and my late brother Eric were around each other from age 9 until the day Eric passed. My prayers go to the entire Masters family at this time.
