Victor J. Biasetti Sr.

Biasetti Sr., Victor J. "Coke" Age 90, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Rosella (nee Canino) Biasetti; parents, Victor and Felicia (nee Perona) Biasetti, and his sisters, Margaret Biasetti, Annetta Dirst and Victoria Milano. Survived by his loving children, Victor (Donna) Biasetti, Jr. and Julie Ann (Robert) Wright; his grandchildren, Bridget (Mike) Libert, Anthony Biasetti, Mary (Tim) Gardner, Gina (Tom) Darnell, Felicia (Matt Davis), Elyse and Timmy Wright; great-grandchildren, Lukas Biasetti, Morgan, Cody and Norah Gardner and Damon Davis and a dear cousin, Betty Dwyer. Vic retired from the Cement Mason's Local 111 after 40 plus years of loyal service. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the U.S. Army. He was a life member of Stone City Post V.F.W. #2199, a volunteer for the mostaccioli dinner and bingo caller at Stone City Post. Original and current member of the Stone City Post Bowling League. He enjoyed volunteering at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center for over 25 years. Funeral services will be Monday, November 5, 2012 at 9:15 a.m from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home to St. Paul the Apostle Church for mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial at St. Patrick Cemetery, Joliet. Visitation Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 2 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in "Coke's" name to Stone City Post V.F.W. #2199 would be appreciated.
