Catherine Pfeiffer Obituary
She was born on Dec. 3, 1962, in Monticello, to the late Jim and Pat (Speer) Alpha. On July 4, 1994, she married Charles Andrew "Drew" Pfeiffer in Nevada. He survives.
She was a 1981 graduate of Twin Lakes High School and worked at True Flight Arrow in Monticello. Cathy and Drew moved away from their home of several years in Wolcott to their dream place in Henderson, Nev. She enjoyed riding her scooter and electric bike, exploring the pathways wherever they would take her in Nevada. The feel of the open road gave her a sense of freedom, making every day feel like a vacation day. After years of having trouble getting a tan, she got her best tan ever and loved it.
Cathy was always caring about someone else. She also got a special tattoo in remembrance of her family. And you cannot remember Cathy without acknowledging how much she loved her pets. Her many cats and dogs were like her very own children. She also loved her craft projects, coming up with different weird little objects to decorate her home. She loved playing word games, puzzles, and other assorted games.
In addition to her husband Drew, she is survived by her brother, Bruce Jay (Bonnie) Alpha; niece, Makenzie Elaine Alpha; great-nephews, Keagan Austin (Hannah) Alpha, Dylan Blake Alpha and Caidyn James Alpha; great-niece, Madison Alexis Alpha; and several great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Wayne Alpha.
No service or memorial is planned.
