Meredith Ashba Obituary
She was formerly from Delphi and had lived in Monticello the past five years. She was born April 9, 1927, in Carroll County, to the late Amos Levi and Marguerite Moore Herr.
She married Paul E. Ashba on June 7, 1945, in Delphi; he preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 2005.
Meredith graduated from Delphi High School in 1945. Family was everything to Meredith. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren, and any time they could all be together brought her such great joy.
Surviving is daughter, Nadine and George Kingsley, Monticello; son, Paul E. Ashba Jr., Monticello; sister-in-law, Annabelle Larimore, Delphi; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Kruz and brother-in-law, Richard Larimore.
Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 19 from 11 a.m. until her funeral service at 1 p.m. at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Pastor Donald Harmon will officiate.
Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery, Delphi.
Memorial contributions may be made to Yeoman United Methodist Church. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
