Connie Doyle Obituary

Connie Doyle
12/26/2024
Connie Ann Doyle (72) passed away on December 26, 2024 in Port St. Lucie, Florida. She is survived by daughters Melissa (Sam) and Kaitlyn (Gino), brother Bob, sister Carolyn, and her many grand-fur-babies, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives. She was predeceased by her sister, Janice, and her rock, Dougie.
Connie was born in the Revonah Woods neighborhood of Stamford, CT to Robert and Eleanor Ballard Doyle. She grew up in Stamford, attending Belltown School, Sacred Heart Academy, and Rippowam High School. Connie later moved to Norwalk where she spent the majority of her years while building a successful career as a broker and financial adviser at Prudential Securities and Janney Montgomery Scott.
Connie retired to Port St. Lucie, Florida where she spent her days rocking out on air guitar to AC/DC's Thunderstruck when she wasn't reading and relaxing by her pool in her pretty house.
Connie was a loving mother, sister, and friend to many. She could always be counted on to lend her ear when someone needed comfort or clarity. Connie enjoyed sitting outside watching the birds and the squirrels, and may have occasionally used her water gun to keep the squirrels off the patio screens. While the holiday season will become a time of grief for her loss, Connie's love for the holidays and her ability to make our home cozy and warm will carry us through to finding joy again.

Dear Bob, Carolyn, Melissa, Kaitlyn and Connie's extended family,

My heart goes out to you all. This significant loss is unimaginable and I am thinking of each of you constantly. I am sad and my whole heart has a soreness and a deep ache for each of you as you begin navigating this ...

Connie loved nothing more than being with you and sharing her life with you. She would happily give updates on how you were doing, new projects, jobs, pets, moves and yes, we even talked recently on whether that beautiful coffee table was sold. I could hear the love in her heart and "see" the smile on her face every time she spoke of you. Family meant everything to Connie. You all came first.

Admidedly selfish, I will share that my heart is as heavy with sadness and a feeling of emptiness as if I've lost a sibling. I have been blessed for over 60 years to call Connie not just friend, but a best friend...and we were, more times than I can count, "fox hole friends". Those are rare and worth their weight in gold. Connie will remain in my heart, and I find myself going over so many times we shared, secrets we held for each other and milestones we marked together. I will run my hands over the tapestry of the thousands of memories we wove together right up to our last conversation and text just a few days before, and I will be grateful for her in my life.

To you, my fellow "tall girl" ...it was my joy and privilege to share a lifelong journey of a close-knit, abiding, and meaningful friendship with you.

Con....Connie...I love you.

I´m so deeply saddened, Connie. She was such a dear friend from our high school days-always there with a listening ear and sometimes a shoulder to lean on. Even when we only met up occasionally over the years, it felt like no time had passed. I´ll always cherish the memories of our music nights out in Port Chester in her flower-power VW Bug. Those were such special times.
