Gary R. Verbanic Sr, 66, of Merritt Island, FL passed unexpectedly on March 10, 2022. Formerly of Ridgefield, CT were Gary built a beautiful life with the love of his life, best friend and wife of 39 years, Yvonne Verbanic. He was Born December 19,1955 in Norwalk Ct. After 27 years with the CT DOT he retired as a General Supervisor and moved to Merritt Island to start his own Charter boat and run the Bait shop he spent his free time in, A few of his many proud accomplishments. Gary is survived by his children Gary Jr (Nicole), William (Jennifer), Greg (Allison), Bryan (Destiny) and Jessica (David) and his Grandchildren who he absolutely loved spending time with more than anything else; Gary III, Jordan, Leilani, Danika, Nicole, Katelyn, Adalyn, Matthew, Brooklyn and Jacob. Gary was predeceased by his Parents Connie and Ed Jackson, his brother and best friend James Verbanic and sister Cheri Rivera A Memorial Service will be held in September to Honor Gary at a date and location to be determined by the family.
