Gregoire Dumas Obituary
Gregoire O. Dumas passed away on Monday, January 3rd, 2022, after a long battle with Esophageal Cancer. He was 84 years old. Gregoire was born in Quebec, Canada son of the late Albert and Alice Gilbert Dumas, survivors include his lovely wife Clementine Dumas of 53 years of marriage, his 2 children Steve Dumas and Amy Dumas, Steve's wife Robyn Dumas and his 2 grandchildren Hunter and Jake Dumas whom he was very proud of, Greg came from a large family of 6 sisters and 6 brothers.
Greg was a very hard-working self-employed man who did carpentry for over 35 years. He would help his children at their houses as well doing repairs as needed. He Loved to be outside fishing, hunting and even going to watch his grandchildren play sports no matter what the weather was. Greg was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 30 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 7th at 10.00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk.
Burial will be private.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, January 6th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk.
Please send memorial Donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in the name of Gregoire Dumas.
