James Arbour passed away peacefully at Cassena Care in Norwalk, CT on April 11th, 2025.
James was predeceased by his parents, John G. Arbour and Patricia Arbour, and his brother, John Arbour Jr. He is survived by his brother Richard Arbour, sister Nicole Arbour, Richard's wife Kathy Arbour, niece Amanda Arbour, nephew Stephen Arbour, and his Aunt Virginia (Ginger) Emershaw.
Jim was born in Baltimore MD on April 28, 1958 and moved a lot until the age of 7, when his parents divorced. Afterwards, he, his mother, and his siblings moved to Wyoming, PA where he spent his formative years.
He moved to Connecticut and in 1976 graduated from Staples High School in Westport, CT.
A lifelong bachelor, Jim enjoyed watching films and listening to music.
He was especially proud of his extensive music album collection.
He was also a member of Pastime Athletic Club in Norwalk, where he had many friends.
He spent 11 years working at Perkin Elmer in Norwalk, CT and 27 years at Norwalk compressor company.
Collins Funeral Home, located at 92 East Ave., Norwalk, CT will hold a gathering/reception in Jim's memory on Saturday, June 28th, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.
