Robert MacIsaac Obituary

Robert MacIsaac
Robert Neil MacIsaac, 59, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of August 18th during historic flooding in Fairfield, Connecticut. Bobby was born on September 14, 1964 and was immediately adored by his three older siblings and doting parents. He grew up in Weston, Connecticut and continued to live there for the rest of his life. He was a valued member of the community, worked as a carpenter, served on the Weston Volunteer Fire Department, and had many wonderful friends he would meet up with for a morning coffee or Sunday evenings at Outback Steakhouse.
Bobby spent decades supporting his family in all ways. He would drive on the weekends from Connecticut to Huntington, Vermont to visit with family, tackle a project, take care of the Scottish Highland cattle, explore the woods, or support his brother with his maple syrup operation. He was the easiest person to love and was the epitome of perseverance, hard work, curiosity and kindness (to all humans and animals).
Bobby was predeceased by his parents, Joyce and James MacIsaac, and his siblings, Kathryn Ryan and Jim MacIsaac. Bobby is survived by his eldest sister, Cynthia Langley of Burlington, Vermont; his nieces, Joyce, Genevieve, Julianna and Alexandria and his nephews, Dylan, Neil and Edward. He loved creating memories with his great-nephews, Parker, Flynn, Liam, Greyson, Madsen and River and his great-niece, Alice.
Should friends choose, contributions may be made in Bobby's memory to Weston Volunteer Fire Department at 52 Norfield Road, Weston, CT 06883 or the Appalachian Trail Conservancy at 99 Washington Street, PO Box 807, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425.

Bob and I shared a similar humor. We´d share New Yorker and Gary Larson cartoons. He loved being a part of WVFD - it meant so much to him. I´m am so sorry to hear of this loss.

Bob worked on our house for over a year. He was always full of smiles and laughter. One day he made my daughter a box for her dolls which she still has. I´m so sorry for your loss. He was a great person.

Bob was a dear friend. We spent great times together over morning coffee with the "motley crew" at the station and sitting on my back deck. He is one of the dearest, sweetest and kindest persons I´ve ever known. He will be missed dearly. Too young/too soon. Love!!!!

But I was such a nice guy he treated everyone with kindness and respect. He was a good friend to me and my brothers during our high school years. One memory that stands out a bunch of us were over at his house for the Mets game six "it gets through Buckner !"

Bob, you ran into me at Home Depot few years back and realizing quickly talking to you the type of person you were, a very pleasant and honest man and asked for your business card, you were an awesome guy, a master carpenter who was meticulous that helped me install new windows and a door at my house back in May, June and July and we became friends, you will be greatly missed by all that knew you. It's hard to believe that July 20th was the last time we worked together. Rest in peace.

you will be dearly missed Bobby I´m grateful to be able to call you a friend and to have known you since meeting you at Outback Steakhouse you´ve always been someone who motivates me and inspires me. I can´t get over the fact that I just saw you last Sunday. It´s never going to be the same not seeing you at outback anymore as well as when they have the superbowl party. I will always cherish the good times we had and all the times we joked around. You were a really good guy and the world just lost a really good person. You were loved by many and brightened the smiles of so many people when they saw you. I promise you if I join the military or become a police officer I will make you proud and always honor you. Rest in peace my friend. I want to send my sincere deepest condolences to Bobby´s family and want you to know you are not alone.

Our weekend coffee gatherings with friends won´t be the same without Bob. We´re already missing that big hello, a smile, laughs and our conversations won´t be the same without you. Bob always had something kind to say, happy to help and a genuine "how are you today?" We are heartbroken over the loss of our friend and will miss him dearly.
Keeping his family and friends in prayers.
With Sincere Sympathy,
Your coffee buddies...
