Archie Alex Dzingle was born March 21, 1926, in rural Sherman County (Ashton), to Alex and Monica (Stanczyk) Dzingle. Archie attended District 56 and District 66 rural schools, and graduated from the eighth grade.
On April 20, 1948, he married Adeline Spotanski at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church in Loup City. This year they would have celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary in April. Through the years of their marriage, they traveled to several states on family vacations.
They farmed until 1962 and then moved to Loup City and purchased a bar "Archie's" and sold it after three years. He was then employed at Sperry New Holland in Grand Island for 21 years until his retirement. Archie then worked for the Kowalski Elevator hauling fertilizer and helping farmers with harvest in the area. Also during this time, he worked for St. Josaphat's Church doing lawn care for 17 years.
He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus since he was 18, and Eucharistic Minister for several years. Archie was also a member of the Loup City Volunteer Fire Department for several years. He was devoted family man. His presence will be greatly missed, especially by his family.
Archie is survived by his wife, Adeline of Loup City; sons, Allen (Bette) Dzingle of Gretna, Duane (Carole) Dzingle of Marion, Iowa; daughter, Cheryl (Jerry) Krueger of Lincoln; seven grandchildren, Chad, Adam and Daniel Dzingle, Jordon Dzingle-Schmitt, Logan Dzingle and Alexa and Chase Krueger; 10 great-grandchildren, Raya, Nina, Kalei, Alex, Ella, Archie, Ollie, Laddie Reagan and Easton; brother, Kenneth (Carolyn) Dzingle of Ord; sister, Romaine Knox.
