Harold was born January 28, 1929, at Palmer, NE, the son of George and Louise (Zamzow) Rudolf. He received his education at District 45 and Palmer High School. Harold was a farmer all of his life except for the two years spent in Japan and Korea with the Army. He lived and worked on his farm until he was 85 years old.
On June 15, 1969, Harold married Marjorie Ann Behring and they farmed together until retirement. They raised hogs and black Angus cattle, their pride and joy. Marjorie was a wonderful companion as they worked together. Upon retirement, they moved to Primrose Independent Retirement Community in Grand Island.
Harold and Marjorie were not blessed with children but were especially blessed with many cousins, nephews, nieces and a wonderful brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Harold had many friends who were dear to him and they had many enjoyable times together. Harold loved his dogs, of which he had many throughout his lifetime.
Harold found a new passion for hunting turkey when he was introduced to Kent Boughton and Tony Morrow at the age of 75. He was very active in his church and held several offices over the years. He loved to sing and sang quite often in the choir, quartets and solos. He also served on the Farmers Coop Elevator board in Palmer for nine years.
Survivors include his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Elmer and Diana Behring; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; beloved wife of 49 years, Marjorie; sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Gene Beeching; and nephew, Doug Beeching.

Harold and Majorie were a constant example of faith and community in our church. I have many fond memories of them both as my Sunday school teachers and youth group leaders. Besides singing Harold could still easily play his trombone and he did so on more than one occasion with the kids at church. Just a wonderful person inside and out.
