June Rosenquist Obituary
August 20, 1928 - February 2, 2025
June P. Rosenquist of Scottsdale, Arizona received her angel wings on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the age of 96. June was born August 20, 1928, in York, Nebraska to Frank and Altha Henning. She graduated with the class of '46 from York High School. On November 20, 1948, June married Eugene M. Rosenquist and they welcomed six children while in York, one of whom died in infancy. They then moved to St. Paul in 1964 where they welcomed two more, which became her "Seven Good Kids." Following retirement, she moved to Columbus in 1997 and then relocated to the Valley of the Sun in 2009 where she remained until her death.
June is preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene, daughters Gretchen and Judy, brother Richard and infant granddaughter Alison. She is survived by her children David (Carolyn), Jane (Jake Jacobsen), Daniel (Janice), Douglas (Holly), Jennifer (John Rickertsen), and Donald (Carolee), nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held in St. Paul at a later date. June would be honored to have donations made, in her name, to St. Paul Legion Post 119 Baseball Program or The Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
