Michael L. Hormann
February 15, 1970 - December 13, 2023
Michael L. Hormann, 53, of Grand Island, NE died Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at CHI Health St. Francis.
Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Platt Duetsche. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Apfel Funeral Home on Thursday, December 21st. Memorials are suggested to Apfel Funeral Home. Online condolences may be directed to www.apfelfuneralhome.com.
Michael was born on February 15, 1970, at Hastings, NE to Wayne and Carol (Crawford) Hormann. He grew up in Central City, North Loup, and Grand Island and received his education at Central City Public Schools. After graduating he made his career in HVAC.
Michael enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, spending time with friends, and was an avid Seattle Seahawk and Husker football fan. His passion was being with his family and loved to watch his daughters play sports and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include children: Courtney Leigh Hormann, Laken Nicole Harmann, Alexandria Emily Hormann, Madison Sierra Hormann; four grandchildren; father, Earl W. Hormann; sisters; Dawn Sherman and Melanie Hansen; nephews: Daniel (Jamie) Hormann, Matt Hansen, Owen Hansen, Trenton Hansen, and Preston Lavender.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Marion Hormann, JR Crawford; mother, Carol Hormann.
