Edward Meissner, known as "Bud" to family and friends, went home to Heaven on December 29, 2020 from home hospice at Wesley Enhanced Living – Upper Moreland.
Born October 3, 1931 in Philadelphia, he graduated from Frankford High School and earned his BS in Business Administration from LaSalle College and Master's degree in Guidance & Counseling from Trenton State University. He served in the United States Air Force in Fighter Interceptors during the era of the Korean Conflict, retiring with the rank of First Lieutenant.

An educator for many years, Bud taught Industrial Arts (Wood Shop, Mechanical Drawing), Photography, Computer Science, and eventually retired from his career as a Guidance Counselor at Log College Junior High School, in Warminster, PA.
He was an avid sailor and travelled the United States and Canada in various campers that the family owned, often taking their children and grandchildren on trips that were fun and full of memories.
Bud is survived by his wife, Judy; his four sons, Mark, Eric, Bruce, and Christopher; 8 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
