Lorraine Finelli Obituary
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., she was the daughter of Dorothy (Osinski) and the late Henry Gable.
She was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School Class of 1974, received her Bachelor's Degree from Immaculata University in 1978, and completed her Doctorate at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1982. She completed her dermatology residency at the Cleveland Clinic in 1985.
As a dermatologist, she operated a private practice in Willow Grove for 30 years and was adored by her staff and patients.
She had a special zest for life, a kind and gentle spirit, and always knew how to pay it forward. Her favorite activities were reading books to her grandson, taking long walks with friends, and being surrounded by her friends and family, especially her children.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Daniel M. Finelli, DO, JD. She is the beloved mother of Nicole Laslett and her husband David Laslett of Philadelphia, and Benjamin Finelli of Philadelphia.
She is the cherished grandmother of Bryceson Laslett. She is also survived by her sister Joan Gable and brother-in-law Dominic Diodata.
She is predeceased by her brother Eric Gable.

I took my daughter to see Dr Finelli for acne. While I was there I asked her about a mole I had on my leg, I told her my family doctor said it was fine but I thought it was changing. She she let´s just take a small sample amd be sure it´s nothing. The next day she called me with the results that I had invasive melanoma skin cancer! That was 15 years ago ! She saved my life by doing what she did best!!!! My family and I thank you

Dr. Lorrie was my dermatologist for many years.
She was so very kind and caring to all her patients and staff.
I know in Heaven they are naming an Angel after you.
Will miss you.

I have recently learned about her passing. I have to say sje saved my life ! I had a small mole that my family doctor told me was fine. I took my daughter to her for an acne problem amd while I was there I asked her about the same mole that I was told was ok. She said because I said it was changing she wanted to remove it .Thank God she did two days later she called me and told me I had invasive melanoma she had caught it very early and if it wasn´t for her I would not be here todayThank you for being a great thorough doctor

Dr. Finelli was such a caring physician. She knew of my fear of dermatologists and always calmed me with her gentle reassurance and excellent work. My family is saddened by this news. May she be surrounded by the angels in Heaven.

We are so sorry for your loss. Dr. Finelli will be greatly missed by our family and all her patients. She was a thoughtful , intelligent , hard working ,kind doctor with a warm , pleasant personality who went above and beyond to help us. We were so lucky to have known her. She was always an angel and i'm sure she is watching over all of you.
