Johnny Joe was a great guy from when I first met him in the ninth grade when he came over to the public school from Parochial. He kept his sense of humor for his entire life, as when I last saw him in 2016. We will miss his smile!

John Yengo worked with me at Ithaca Renting for just under 40 years and many of Ithaca's favorite businesses are in place because of his effort and dedication.
He deserves special credit for bringing the first authentic restaurant with the food of about a dozen nationalities or cuisines and made Ithaca into a cosmopolitan international restaurant scene enjoyed by Ithacans and visitors.
Think of John when you eat in one of these restaurants.
