Ithaca: Marcus A. Graves Malone, 40 of Elm St. Ithaca, NY died unexpectedly after being admitted to Cayuga Medical Center on January 16, 2015. Born Nov. 19, 1974 in Ithaca, NY, he was the son of Daniel T. Malone and Delphine L. Graves, both of Ithaca. He was a student of the Ithaca City School District, and graduated from Seneca Vocational High School in Buffalo. Music and basketball were his passion and talent of which he shared with his employment at Ithaca College and more recently at Calvary Baptist Church. He was also owner and manager of ASB, Inc. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tanisha R. V. Graves Malone at home; children, Harmony, De'Marquis, Sir.Khristian, Serenity Graves Malone, Wesley Rodriguez, Angela Mammino, Biancha Davis, and one grandchild. He is also survived by his parents and his grandmother, Dessie Talcott; brothers, Mario Graves, Maurice and Johnny Clanton, Daniel R. Malone and Roosevelt Lee, III; sisters, Jennifer Zulu, Shevonne Hawkins and Rozella Lee, several cousins, nephews, nieces and close friends. His gift of music and humor touched many hearts and souls and he will be truly missed. Services will be held on Sat., Jan. 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 197 Bostwick Rd., Ithaca. Visitation will be 6-7p.m. Friday evening followed by a service of reflections from 7-9p.m. at the church. Interment will be at a later date in Frear Memorial Park.
